Seen a good movie lately?, played a good game?
Why not post it here?
The last movie I saw was Prince Caspian, which I liked a lot. It changed things from the book, but I liked it, and Eddie Izzard was a perfect Reepicheep.
I wouldn't mind seeing it actualy.
It's worthwhile. Have you read the books? They show C.S. Lewis's biases terribly (He was always longing for the Good Old Days Before This Modern Rubbish), but are still quite enjoyable.
I, glum at the fact that I havn't...
My parents own the first one, saw it, was pretty good in my honest opinion.
It's pretty easy to find, at least. Unlike a series like Gormenghast, for example.
Impressive. I'll have to track it down and check it out.
You didn't know about Runescape!? xD
What can I say? I'm old.
Perhaps someday I'll tell you young 'uns about the Dead Kennedys' fabled, and unique, performance of Pull My Strings at the New Wave Music Awards.
Or, "Why You Don't Ask A Sarcastic, Political Punk Band To Perform At The New Wave Music Awards."
o-o; The what...?
The performance of the legendary Punk band the Dead Kennedys at the Bay Area Music Awards back in 1980.
...yes, kids, Punk is not a new style of music. It is quite possible that you were conceived to punk rock.
The Dead Kennedys were asked to perform their classic political song "California Uber Alles," but decided to perform another song instead-- one they'd written for the occasion.
It was hugely popular, but they never performed it again, and were never invited back to the awards, either.
Which tells you something about the song.
Dead Kennedys are awsome, but runescape is a decent game if its raining and you have absolutly nothing better to do.
A little repetitive till about lvl 50+ though. Free To Play version runs low on the fun factor REALLY fast, all the good stuff you gotta pay 5$ a month.
I just finished catering to Stone Temple Pilots. They sucked... so many people smoking joints and such a crappy concert. (Not saying their music sucks, just the concert...)
Catering Drop Kick Murphy's on Thursday and Friday... @w@
Dropkick Murphys? Dang-- I never get fun jobs like that. Uh, wear shoes that you don't mind kicking someone really hard in. Y'know. Just in case.
Not that I'm basing that on the last punk show I went to or anything.
o-o;
I won't be in the audience. I'd be... well, where ever the Hell I want, really. During Stone Temple Pilots, I sat in the blocked off seats until five people in the next row started smoking joints and I started getting lightheaded.... @w@
Well, to be fair, the last punk show I went to had five bands you've never heard of (No more than three of which still exist) playing in a barren church basement. No security. No nothing. The slam dancing got a little out of hand a time or two, but I tend to exaggerate the results.
The only concert i have been to is a the Gorrilaz Concert in New York. Man i was lucky my mom bought me tickets... I really like the gorrilaz but the concert was "meh", this guy playing the piano sorta stole the show and the screen were the band members were going to show up broke T.T...
But heres a video from the concert, the song is Dirty Harry. Thats like song 1 outa the 19 or so they played that night.
By the way, there not a "little kid" band. Those kids just suck ass at singing and that song just needed kids to sing >.>
Here's an official muisic video of that song...
i hate how you can't edit your text after 3 minutes...
Yep. On-topic, just saw a fun movie-- Dhoom. It's a Baliwood film, which means that it's a classic cop/buddy story about two unlikely partners catching a daring foursome of motorcycle bandits, with high-speed chases, fistfights, MTV-like cuts, interesting and distinctive cinematography... and song and dance numbers.
I recommend it.
